Drax is the UKs single largest carbon emitter\, and world’s biggest tree burner\, and yet receives GREEN subsidies. \nWe cannot allow this dirty scam to continue for a second longer. The Government is now considering giving Drax £billions more in subsidies for business as usual tree burning and pollution. \nJoin us to say Enough is Enough\, No More. This is money that will not be available to support a transition to genuinely renewable wind and solar power. \nWe say: no more. No more wasting our money on dirty tree burning. No more funding of an industry that is driving environmental injustice\, wrecking ecosystems and ruining our chances at a liveable future by destroying the very forests we need to absorb carbon emissions. \nIt’s more important now more than ever to put pressure on our government and let them know that we will not stand by whilst £billions more could be given to polluters!
