DESCRIPTION:Support Diana Warner as she stands trial for allegedly obstructing a Drax train in December 2021. \nCharged with obstructing a Drax train on a private train line that only carries wood pellets to Drax by the thousand tonne load\, Diana needs support outside the court building during the trial. \nThe trial is running from 2nd to 5th April\, and court will be in session from 9:30 to 16:30 each day. You don’t need to be there the whole time\, but any support is appreciated.

This is after a year when Drax has once again been exposed for sourcing from primary\, rare\, old-growth forests in British Columbia\, from sourcing from Natura 2000 sites in Portugal and emitting huge amounts of air pollution causing devastating health impacts to environmental justice communities in the Southern US. \nIt’s an absolute disgrace that this company is destroying our planet\, our communities\, our forests – and taking our money to do it. Drax is the UKs single largest carbon emitter\, and world’s biggest tree burner\, and yet receives GREEN subsidies. \nWe cannot allow this dirty scam to continue for a second longer. The Government is now considering giving Drax £billions more in subsidies for business as usual tree burning and pollution. \nJoin us to say Enough is Enough\, No More.
