Axe Drax are a direct action and protest collective that organise media stunts and actions to highlight issues around Drax. Ultimately our aims are:
- Government to Drop subsidies for burning Trees
- Win a just transition for workers and communities
- Win reparations for the communities harmed by Drax’s operation
Axe Drax is one of many organisations that are working against tree burning for electricity. The Stop Burning Trees coalition is a broader coalition, whos volunteer base is older and focused on policy change and softer campaigning tactics.
